1. Description of Service

Car Buy Sell BD operates as an online marketplace connecting buyers and sellers. We facilitate a platform where users can post and discover the following:

  • Vehicles: New and used cars, motorbikes, bicycles, three-wheelers, trucks, vans, buses, heavy-duty machinery, and water transport.
  • Automotive Goods: Auto parts, accessories, and maintenance tools.
  • Business Listings: Dealerships, workshops, driving schools, rent-a-car services, ambulance services, and other automotive-related businesses.
  • Job Postings: Employment opportunities within the automotive sector, such as drivers, mechanics, sales executives, and showroom managers.

Important: We are strictly a platform provider. Car Buy Sell BD does not own, inspect, buy, or sell the items listed. We are not a party to the actual transaction between buyers and sellers, employers and job seekers, or businesses and customers.

 

2. User Accounts and Registration

To post advertisements, save wishlists, or access your dashboard, you must register an account.

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and form legally binding contracts.
  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile updated.
  • Account Security: You are fully responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

 

3. Rules for Posting and Content

Whether you are listing a vehicle, advertising a workshop, or posting a job, you must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Truthful Representation: All details regarding budget, mileage, manufacturing year, fuel type (e.g., CNG, Hybrid, Octane), and condition must be strictly accurate.
  • Ownership: You must have the legal right to sell the vehicle or offer the services you post.
  • Prohibited Content: You may not post counterfeit items, stolen vehicles, misleading job offers, or services that violate the laws of Bangladesh.
  • Respectful Conduct: Spam, abusive language, discrimination, and uploading malicious software are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate account ban.

 

4. Buyer and Seller Responsibilities

Because Car Buy Sell BD does not verify the physical condition of listed items, users must exercise caution and common sense.

  • Due Diligence: Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect vehicles, verify registration papers with the BRTA, and test drive before exchanging any money.
  • Safe Meetings: Always arrange to view vehicles or conduct transactions in safe, public locations during daylight hours.
  • Taxes and Fees: Users are solely responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes, transfer fees, or duties associated with the sale of their goods.

 

5. Fees and Paid Services

While browsing the platform is free, we may charge fees for certain services, such as premium listings, ad boosts, or business directory memberships.

  • All fees are clearly stated at the point of purchase.
  • Unless required by law, all payments made for premium features are non-refundable.

 

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: By uploading photos, text, or logos to our platform, you grant Car Buy Sell BD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute this content for promotional and operational purposes.
  • Our Platform: The design, code, graphics, and trademarks associated with Car Buy Sell BD are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, scrape, or distribute our platform's data without written permission.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Car Buy Sell BD, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the following:
